Let me begin by introducing myself. My name is Joe Davis, I am a 24yr old Systems Engineer in Kansas City. I have been in the IT industry for around a decade and I haven’t burnt out so I think I am going to stick with it.

I have been a field-technician, computer shop manager (x 3), a Senior Information Management Specialist (don’t ask me what that means) for ACS-GS, Inc and Lockheed Martin. I served in US Navy for around 3 years as an Electronics Technician before being discharged for medical reasons. I am one of few MCSE’s who love using thier Apple OS based computers more than Windows. I took a position as a Service Manager for a Kansas City based Apple Repair Center and I have loved Apple ever since. I have lived in Chicago, San Diego and few other random places; mostly hick towns in Missouri. I am getting married on September 30, 2006! I love you Devyn!

Anyway, I have always wanted to start a blog but I never could come up with a solid topic or group of topics I though anyone would want to read. I decided yesterday that it doesn’t matter and I would write about whatever I want and if people read it, great! I will try my hardest to stay away from politics unless it has something to do with IT. I may from time to time publish an article on Religion so don’t be surprised by it. I am a Christian and I take my faith seriously, it isn’t just something I do on Sunday mornings.
